HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me...
finally got used to saying that i'm 23 and now moving on to the next number... really i think once we've hit 18 it should just stay that way.. who cares about the number every year- lets just go out and celebrate another year of life but common who;s counting... anyways at least thats the age i feel... 18.... wish i still looked it but hey praise God that i'm healthy and he;s still watching out for me! as for tonight- i get to hang out with my besties! desert at Papa Haydn on NW 23rd! LOVE THAT PLACE! great location and some pretty amazing deserts... the food is not bad either! pix to follow later tonight! cheers!

Sweet little Neice in ICU!
so my cousin Liza- who is like a sister to me becuase we share both sets of grandparents- has this beautiful little girl named Giada! She is such a sweet thing, so calm and quite all the time makes u wonder how come i got stuck with such an energetic kid- oh well beside the point....
oh by the way this is a pic of my cousin and her baby!
So my little neice Giada is in the hospital due to a fracture to her skull and she had a seisure so she was taken to emergency and turns out there is blood in her brain... not alot of details as to how this happend cuz Liz was at work at this time but we are all praying for this little girl and hope that u can too! They did an MRI today and it went fine and doctors say that she will be fine!
Amid all of this, between post and updates on facebook- i came across this post on liza's profile that a mutual family friend posted and it just cracked me up- i hope liza finds it funny cuz it is her baby but here it is- i copy and pasted:

Bush Park- A Typical sunday Evening

Finally found pix from David's birthday (5/14) on his iPhone and decided to post late then never! oops i was in charge of hosting the party so i completely forgot to take pix of everything else! was kinda a cute party and we had an awesome time with our friends! Went out to Old Spaghetti Factory the day before that with his family have the pix somewhere on a disc from his sister so i'll try to upload them soon!

Diaper In The Washer
did u ever wonder what would happen if one of your disposable diapers got into the washer machine? cleaning up THAT disaster right about now! Didnt even begin to imagine how many little squishy urine soaking-up little bally thingies were in that size 6 diaper untill i had to be out on the deck shaking out that HUGE load of laundry that i cleaverly thought i had gotten out of the way finally...

Sun is Finally here- but is it welcome?
We've been moaning and groaning about the weather-how it was cloudy and rainy and for the end of June just not at all acceptable! Finally the sun is here and it actually feels kinda hot! Thats very nice and all cuz we get to finally wear the warm weather clothes that I;ve been scoring at great deals all spring but it seems that the sun is now triggering a migraine for me and some funky weird pressure behind my eyeballs... arg! I would really like to enjoy this weather but if this keeps up I'm gonna be wishing that we go back to clouds and rain! And I know for a fact the rest of us Oregonians are not gonna be pleased about that!
On the same note- did u notice how as soon the weather gets nice there is construction and detours up the wazoo all over town? Considering how small Salem is- its getting pretty annoying to be running circles all over town just to get from point A to point B!

Wake up call- Literally!
Most of the time God talks to us in a gentle voice, in the subtle quiet way... mostly through our conscience, through little hints here and there... but some times He just gets in your face and you know you've got no where to go but to your knees!
We all have our ups and downs and most of the times our inner most issues that we are facing, our temptations and our faults that we battle whether they are big or small are not noticable to our family or friends.
We pray to God for strenght, for that one little jump start to get you out of that rut that you've gotten into but you cant seem to get out. And it seems like every day your praying the same prayer and its going unheard and you cant force your self to change.
For me it has been like this for a little while now untill a few nights ago i woke up with what seemed like a loud pop and a feeling like i got a smack on my forehaed! A shiver went through me and a feeling of fear came over me! I realized- if I were to die right now right here at this moment I might not be saved because i was holding on to a grudge so stubbornly that I had forgetten the reason for my anger! And even though I couldnt rememebr i was holdimg on to that feeling as revenge over that person! I turned over to my husband and I just started bawling! Apologies to him for anything that i've ever done or said, telling him i forgave him for things he may not even be aware of. and Prayer to God for the many many things that i've done to be undeserving of His LOVE! That whole day I prayed, I prayed for God to release my FEAR, release my ANGER, release my CHAINS of UNFORGIVENESS! And the streangth to be the woman HE wants me to be! Some of those prayers were answered almost that very same day- I didnt become this perfect Angel that i would like to be but I did feel that God started to continue his work in me that he started many years ago! This was the EXACT sign and push that i've been praying about and the fact that I woke up in the middle of the night with these unexplainable feelings was a big enough sign for me!!!
I will end this by saying that My Biggest Fear is reflected in this Following verse and I hope that it NEVER applies to me again!:
I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked...
Revealation 3:15-17

you afford fries with that?"
CEO's are now playing miniature golf.
If the bank returns your check marked "Insufficient Funds," you call them
and ask if they meant you or them.
Hot Wheels and Matchbox stocks are trading higher than GM.
McDonald's is selling the 1/4 ouncer.
Parents in Beverly Hills fired their nannies and learned their children's
names.
A truckload of Americans was caught sneaking into Mexico.
Dick Cheney took his stockbroker hunting.
Motel Six won't leave the light on anymore.
The Mafia is laying off judges and Senators.
Exxon-Mobil laid off 25 Congressmen.
Congress says they are looking into this Bernard Madoff scandal. Oh Great!!
The guy who made $50 Billion disappear is being investigated by the people
who made $1.5 Trillion disappear!
And,finally...
I was so depressed last night thinking about the economy, wars, jobs, my
savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc., I called the Suicide
Lifeline. I got a call center in Pakistan, and when I told them I was
suicidal, they got all excited, and asked if I could drive a truck.
